영화줄거리:
부러진 다리, 파탄 난 신혼여행, 신비로운 소녀, 평화를 가져다 주는 필리핀 가정부. 이들은 텔아비브의 현재를 이루는 요소들이다. 영화는 사랑과 기억의 대상을 구하는, 즉 삶을 찾아가는 사람들로 가득한 세상의 편린에 대한 한 장의 스냅 사진이다.
2007년 칸느영화제 황금카메라상을 수상한 화제작으로 세 여자의 삶에 찾아온 기적 같은 만남을 통해 삶의 마술적 순간을 재조명한다. 결혼식장 전문 웨이트리스와 다리를 다쳐 신혼여행을 떠나지 못한 신혼부부, 히브리어를 하지 못하는 필리핀 가정부와 그녀의 시큰둥한 고객을 주인공으로 각각의 인물들의 쓸쓸한 여정을 쫓는 멀티 플롯 영화다. 평범한 일상을 기적 같은 순간으로 만들어버리는 마술적 리얼리즘으로 세계 평단과 관객의 사랑을 한 몸에 받았다.

Synopsis:
Three very different women live in modern Tel Aviv, Israel. Batya, a catering waitress, takes in a child apparently abandoned at a local beach. Batya is one of the servers at the wedding reception of Keren, a bride who breaks her leg escaping a locked toilet stall, ruining her chance at a dream Caribbean honeymoon. And attending the event with an employer is Joy, a non Hebrew-speaking domestic worker...
